Zinc production:
The PH-1400 pH analyzer: Throughout the leaching processes and for the wastewater treatment plant.
The ASRM-1300 automatic sedimentation rate measuring station: Before the neutral thickeners and before the thickener after the atmospheric direct leaching process.

Nickel production, chlorine leaching process:
The PH-1500 pH analyzer: Throughout the matte leaching processes and for the cobalt purification process.
The ORP-1500 REDOX analyzer: Throughout the matte leaching processes.
The ASRM-1300 automatic sedimentation rate measuring station: In the cobalt purification process.

Fertilzer production:
The PH-1600 pH analyzer: For saturated or near saturated solution in the fertilizer production process.
The PH-1400 pH analyzer: For general use and for the wastewater treatment plant.
The ASRM-1400 automatic sedimentation rate measuring station: For monitoring of the sedimentation and precipitation processes before filtering or thickeners.

Nickel production, HPAL process:

Alumina production:
The PH-1600 pH analyzer: For the pH control of the saturated solutions in the precipitation processes for hydrates

Proven technology
Our analyzers is the result of 40 years of experience with design, construction, servicing and sale of pH analyzers to the industry.
The Norzink/Halland pH analyzers have been sold to zinc plants world-wide for 40 years. The first model was developed at the Norzink zinc plant in Odda in 1971. In the early 1980’s Norzink developed a new model, it was called “SLURpH” this model replaced the first generation and many zinc plants bought this analyzer. This analyzer was sold to the fertilizer industry too. In 1998 the business was handed over to Halland Instruments AS. In 1999 the third generation of pH analyzers where developed, the model PH-13.  Hindustan zinc bought many analyzers for the three new zinc plants they built in 2004, 2006 and 2008. The experiences we got from commissioning and servicing these plants in Rajasthan in India, with ambient temperatures of 50 degrees centigrade, were the reasons to develop a new analyzer, the model PH-1300. The last years the analyzers has been developed even further with our experience from our installations in the industries.
